Improved i-AVR technology

The intelligent automatic voltage regulator (i-AVR) is a microprocessor controller powered by the PMG generator rather than by a sensing winding, as in traditional AVR systems. It can communicate with a computer over a UART-RS232 interface, so generator data such as voltage, current and battery voltage can be viewed on the computer.
